Eight Puppies?! River Reports from the Vet
Hello, friends! River here with a breaking-news report from Dazzling Scents HQ.
Rylie went to visit the nice lady veterinarian today—and we finally learned just how big her surprise may be.
The veterinarian counted EIGHT puppies!
Yes, eight.
Mom’s jaw nearly hit the floor. Shadow almost fainted. I immediately began calculating how many puppy assistants I would soon be responsible for training.
Rylie, however, remained completely calm. She sat there looking poised, graceful and aristocratic—as though producing eight puppies was all part of her royal duties.
The veterinarian believes the puppies could arrive within the next seven to ten days—possibly even sooner. That means puppy preparations have officially shifted into high gear!
Mom and Dad are getting the whelping area ready and gathering all the supplies Rylie and her babies might need. There are blankets, towels and puppy supplies appearing everywhere. Naturally, I am inspecting everything to make sure it meets Dazzling Scents HQ standards.
As the future Uncle River, I take my responsibilities very seriously. Someone will need to supervise the nursery, keep watch over Rylie and teach eight tiny fluff nuggets everything they need to know.
I plan to begin with the essentials:
How to recognize the sound of a treat bag.
How to monitor the porch.
How to greet the delivery driver.
And, most importantly, how to look completely innocent—even when you are probably responsible.
For now, Rylie is resting and receiving the royal treatment she deserves. Shadow is recovering from the shock, Mom and Dad are preparing for every possibility, and I am standing by for the biggest adventure Dazzling Scents HQ has ever seen.
Eight puppies. Eight!
